Session OneWe went to Sinema located somewhere in the city to have our first lesson.
I was quite excited as we would be learning about how to create a movie!
I told myself this was a REALLY RARE OPPORTUNITY and i really have to grab it!
So now, here i am, attending the lessons (:
It has always been my dreams to work closely with the media when i grow up (:
Be it a director, production assistant or maybe an artiste, i'm all okay with it!
But P.S : Artiste is quite impossible. I don't have the looks! Oh well..
Ok, we learnt about the introduction to storytelling through film.
We had to watched 2 films and spot the 3 act structures.
There were namely Beginning, Middle and End.
We were also asked "What makes a good story?"
Some answers were funny, some were realistic while some were like fantasy.
After the lesson ended, we were told to write out a script for our own movie!
This is because we are given the chance to film our very own movie!
When i heard this, i was very happy about it because i didn't expect this.
Overall, the first lesson was really fun and the teacher was really good in speaking (:
P.S : I LOVE THE HOT RED SOFAS IN THE THEATRE (:
Session TwoThis time, we had our lesson in school for the first time.
We had to change our script into a storyboard.
We also had the chance to go around the school to act out and take photos of certain scenarios.
My group got about someone who has failed her exams and what is the ending.
Oops. I seriously don't really know how to say it so apologies yeah?
Zahreen was the main lead, starring Beryl and Sing Yuen too.
I wasn't acting cos i kept laughing non-stop. Haha.
But i gave ideas on how are they suppose to act it out, something like the director.
I was the photographer too! Hehe. Btw, Rini was absent so she wasn't in too.
Lesson 2 was not bad but as i was quite sleepy that day, didn't really catch much.
But after Sing Yuen's explanations, i understood the lesson better (:
